I wrote my first story when I was six.
It was about a lonely turtle named (you guessed it) Mr. Turtle. He wandered around his pond, meeting animals with names I couldn’t spell, speaking in made-up words and fragmented sentences, until one day—
Well, I don’t really know what Mr. Turtle did. I never finished that story. But I’ve been writing madly ever since.
Growing up on a small dairy farm in rural Ontario, quiet moments fuelled my imagination, and in 2023, I earned my B.A. in English Writing.
I’m a firm believer there’s a version of us hidden in every book we read, and stories are how we solve all of life’s problems (or I’m just an avoidant little bean who uses escapism as a coping mechanism, but can’t it be both?). You’ll forever find me dreaming up new worlds, new characters, and new ways of procrastinating on my next WIP.
Welcome to this little corner of my mind.

If it’s not a new Scrivener file, it’s a fresh notebook, an untitled draft on my phone, or a soon-to-be-lost sticky note.
